DOC / 001The founding doctrine

Intelligence is abundant.
Action is inexpensive.
Consequence is not.

Every autonomous act should know why it exists, what it may touch, what would stop it and what would count as proof.

Autonomy does not eliminate order.
It makes order indispensable.

ANTECANT / ORDER BEFORE AUTONOMY
01
PURPOSE

Mandate
before motion.

A request is a beginning, not permission to execute. Make the outcome, constraints and conditions of completion explicit.

Name the owner. Resolve the unknowns. Decide what success looks like before choosing who or what should pursue it.

02
AUTHORITY

Authority
before action.

Autonomy is granted, not assumed. Every actor operates within a scope that can be inspected, narrowed and revoked.

Permission belongs to the work, not the model. Consequential actions wait at explicit approval gates. Delegation never expands the authority of the parent.

03
EVIDENCE

Evidence
before acceptance.

“Done” is a claim. Acceptance requires an observable result, a traceable source and a check against the original mandate.

Keep the artifact, the source revision, the decision and the evaluator together. An eloquent summary is not a substitute for proof.

04
MEMORY

Memory
before repetition.

Sessions end. The organization should not forget. Preserve the decisions that make the next attempt more informed.

Retain what was learned, why a choice was made and what would invalidate it. Promote durable knowledge, not an undifferentiated transcript.

Not less ambition.
More responsibility.

The aim is not to make intelligence timid. It is to make useful autonomy coherent, accountable and worth trusting.
